Heroes TV Show Unveils Jigawa And Katsina State House Mates.


Heroes...back to the roots is Nigeria's first TV reality Show on Culture and tourism. watch on NTA Entertainment this December from 8:30 - 9pm daily. as 37 house mates from all the states of the federation takes us back to the roots using culture as a veritable medium. find out more which state will emerge winner and become the home of culture and tourism in Nigeria.


 
Ikilima Maryam Tukur

Representing the good people of Jigawa state is Maryam. T. Muhammed from Duku local government area of Gombe state. She studied Islamic studies from the Federal College of Education, Bauchi state.


Ikilima as she is fondly called by her friends, is a fun loving house mate with a very light voice. She is an actor and dancer. She entered Heroes…back to the roots to learn more about her culture and Nigeria.


If she wins and become the first face of culture and tourism in Nigeria, she wishes to use this platform as a way of reaching out to the less privileged in the society whom she described as the Almajiris in her local dialect.


22 year old Ikilima says her favourite food is spaghetti and fish. She enjoys watching Takara on TV, a popular Northern soap opera and likes reading Abu Duhu (house literature) while her favourite movie is King-Kong. Her favourite Nigerian musician is Esquire Gombe


Ikilima hopes to have a vacation to Ghana someday and her favourite Nigerian actor is Ali Nuhu. She insisted that her favourite African film maker is Usman Muazu. If she ever wishes to visit a tourist site she will prefer to go to a zoo & an amusement park.


She describes herself as very funny, entertaining, God fearing person with a deep sense and value for culture and tourism and loves learning other culture from around the country. Her role model is Aisha Aliyu.



Representing the good people of Katsina state is Muhammad Imam fondly called Blink by close friends, born 20th June 1984 the 5th born from a family of 13.


 Imam entered Heroes…back to the roots to improve his cultural norms and also to learn more about the culture of other people.and if he wins, he wishes to use this platform in promoting culture and tourism in Nigeria.


30 year old Imam is a proud admirer of culture, tourism and nature. His favourite food is spaghetti and gouse gouse. He enjoys reading shakesperean novels such as; Merchant of Venice which is his favourite novel.


His favourite tourist centre is the tomb of pharaoh in Egypt. He wishes to have a vacation to Canada someday.  He says his favourite African film maker is Ifeanyi Onyeabor while his favourite movie is; Who owns the city.


Imam’s favourite Nigerian musician and actor are Adam .A. Zanfo and Yemi Black respectively. His role model is M.B Yahaya Babs the vice president A.G.N North central.


He described himself as simple, easy going, straight forward, blunt, honest, obedient and humble. I love all without considering colour, ethnic barriers or what have you. All I want is peace and to see unity in our society.

OMG ! An Angel like Image Spotted In The Sky In Dansoman, Ghana.

Dansoman is a sub-urban town in Accra region of Ghana, located near Accra. the town is known for being the largest estate in West Africa. in 2013, it was reported that an image of Jesus Christ was spotted in the sky at Dansoman, Accra Ghana that occurence alone triggered a lot of speculations about the second coming as well as the end time. just this morning some set of people living in the same town saw another image of an Heavenly body in the sky which lasted for a few hours statically, they watched the angel persistently until it vanished off gradually into the sky. Many were afraid at the sight of this appearance, wondering what signs it had come to give, some of the inhabitants of Dansoman went rhetorical, asking what is actually wrong or right about this very town where this appearances keeps taking place others assumed the end time is just closer than they ever imagined.

Oscars 2018: The shape of water leads the race with 13 nods

Academy President John Bailey was joined by Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis to reveal the nominees in 24 categories. Guillermo del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” continued its awards show streak, leading the pack with 13 nominations. Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” followed behind with nine nods and “Dunkirk” with eight. All three films earned best picture nominations. The rest of the category was rounded out by “Call Me By Your Name,” “Darkest Hour,” “Get Out,” “Phantom Thread,” “Lady Bird,” and “The Post.” The Academy Awards — hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the second time — will air live on ABC on March 4.
