Heroes reality TV Show Set To Unveil All 37 Housemates.

Unlike most reality show in Nigeria, Heroes back to the roots is deeply rooted in the spirit of our culture and tourism. Speaking in an interview with the Director of the reality show, Ifeanyi  Onyeabo,  (Nollywood foremost movie director) says, the whole idea behind the show was born out of the negligence of culture and tourism exhibited by Nigerians, especially the youths who now prefer the western ways of doing things. Claiming that, our appreciation and value of culture and tourism is gradually dying out before our very eyes.

The Heroes reality TV show is put together by De Havilla Timeless Production Ltd, a leading entertainment firm in Nigeria, in partnership with the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Heroes, is Nigeria’s first culture and tourism reality show designed to promote and re-value our dying Nigerian culture and appreciation of indigenous tourist zones.

Heroes... back to the roots as it is fondly called, held a nation- wide audition in all major cities across the country which lasted for one month. The cities include: Kano, Bauchi, Jos, Minna, Kaduna, Abuja, Makurdi, Taraba, Cross Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Enugu, Owerri, Abuja, Bayelsa, Lagos and more. Little wonder did the auditions went viral on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc with a lot Radio/Television  publicity that went out in making sure that the show become a trend in television entertainment.  After the auditions, about 150 contestants were selected and hosted in one of Nigeria’s finest tourist centre; Saminaka Holiday Resort. For a 10 days Orientation camp exercise from which the best 37 housemates emerged based on their individual cultural knowledge, strength and ability in Singing, dancing, poem presentation, use of local costumes, craft and lots more.

As Nigeria awaits the unveiling of the 37 Heroes housemates representing the 37 States of the federal republic of Nigeria which will be published on the 16^th of November 16, 2014.  Find out which state will lead the nation in cultural dispensation and take home the star prize of N5million and a brand new SUV Jeep.
