UNILAG Graduate With 2/1 In Banking And Finance Laments Over His State of Joblessness, Says Nigeria is a Mess

The problem of unemployment in Nigeria cannot be over emphasized as year in and out Nigeria turns out graduates in large numbers and with no job opportunities waiting for them. it is a very ironic case, a direct opposite of the Biblical case study where it was boldly written that : The Harvest is plentiful but the Laborers are few. But sadly, the reality that welcomes our graduates is that "the the Laborers are plentiful but the Harvest is just for a selected few".  An Nigerian Twitter user, Michael, 24 years old took advantage of twitter to lament over his job search in a chat he had with an undisclosed fellow whom he wanted to help him secure a job so he could make a meaning for his life.  Read their chat below...

Ondo Election: Akeredolu Leading in 14 Out of 18 Local Governments

With one local governments left out of the 18 in Ondo state, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, has clinched 14 local governments, clearly ahead of other contenders. Results still being collated on Sunday in the Ondo state governorship election indicate that APC is still ahead of PDP and AD. The result still being awaited is from Ilaje local governments. The Returning officer announced that the results are still compiled. The Chief Returning Officer, Prof. A. Ambali, announced an break and said they will reconvene at 11 am. The main candidates are Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu of APC and Mr Eyitayo Jegede of PDP. The results are being collated at the headquarters of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Akure, Ondo state capital. PDP has highest number of votes in two local governments. Women in Ondo South displaying their PVC The Ondo State Governorship election took place in all the 18 Local government Areas of the state yesterday, with voters trooping out early in the day to cast their votes. However, Polling Officers (POs) had hectic time accrediting voters. This was due to the malfunctioning Smart Card Readers (SMC) that failed to either capture the fingers or picture of voters. For instance, the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko could not be accredited because the card reader rejected his thumbprint. He had to fill the incident form before he was allowed to cast his vote. The situation gave rise to condemnation by the leading candidates in the election. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who spoke to newsmen after casting his vote in his Owo hometown, said INEC ought to have tested the devices before deploying them for the election.
