Representing the good of Ondo state is Ebunoluwaa Mark popularly known as “Nsegirl” by her friends, is a beauty therapist born into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Mark Ekpo. She entered Heroes…back to the roots to showcase to the Nigeria youths that Nigeria is indeed rich in Culture & tourism and to win the star prize.

The 28 year old Ebunola, obtained her certificate in Beauty therapy from a beauty school in China, and has since then been working as a beauty therapist in Downtown saloon, surulere, Lagos.
Entertainment wise, She is a fresher with little or no experience in television entertainment, but sees Heroes TV show is a platform to discover herself and learn more about Nigeria and her diverse culture.

Her favourite food is wheat and Vegetables.  She enjoys watching MTN Project Fame, she also listed out Olamide as her favourite Nigeria musician for his street credibility and lyrical content.
Also describing Nigeria as a frontier in Culture and Tourism, she claims her favourite tourism centre is Obudu cattle ranch in Cross River, Calabar. Her favourite abroad destination is Canada while her favourite Nigeria actor is Genevieve Nnaji.

Ebunola added veteran Nollywod actress, Joke Silva as a role model for her ability to act uniquely and her use of the English language. Her favorite novel is “the notebook” by Nichola Sparks. Her favourite movie is “Why did I get married” by Tyler Perry. She says her favourite African film maker is Emem Isong.
She describes herself as God fearing, spontaneous, loves singing, swimming and reading. Good in learning other languages and smiles a lot.

Obiajulu Igboneme-Representing Delta State


Representing the good people of Delta state is Obiajulu Igboneme from Umudioka in Dunukofia local government area of Anambra state. Popularly known as, “Ejima” by his friends. He obtained a higher diploma from the institute of management technology, Enugu state.
Igboneme an actor and dancer, he once featured in New Jerusalem by Ifeanyi Onyeabor, a movie that earned Patience Ozorkwu a nomination at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

He entered Heroes…back to the roots to showcase the endowed natured of the people he’s representing, if he wins and become the first ambassador of culture and tourism in Nigeria, he promises to use this great platform as a way of reaching out to the government to revalue culture and tourism in Nigeria.

His favourite food is pounded yam and nsala and he enjoy watching Jara, a popular musical programme on AIT.
His favourite novel is “Things Fall Apart” by Chinua Achebe. He wishes to visit the United States of America, his favourite movie is New Jerusalem by Ifeanyi Onyeabor. He also added that Gbenga Richards while giving much credit to Ifeanyi Onyeabor as his favourite African film maker.

The 28 year old Delta state house mate expresses his admiration for culture and tourism describing Nigeria as Africa’s home of culture and tourism. He says his favourite tourist centre is “Ogbunike Chue in Oyi L.G.A of Anambra state.
His favourite Nigerian musician is Asa. He further described himself as an easy going and loyal guy that is allergic to fake friends.

Jamila Daba-Representing Kebbi State.


Representing the good people of Kebbi state is Jamila Dabai from Zuru L.G.A of Kebbi state. Born on the 11th of November 1983 is a graduate of Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto.
The 31 year old Jamila entered Heroes..back to the roots to promote African culture, if she wins the Heroes star prize, she wishes to use the platform as a means to reaching out to helping the widows and the poor children in the society.

Her favourite food is beans and plantain, she enjoys watching; Towards a better society. She says her favourite TV program is; Towards a better Society on NTA. Jamila a devoted muslim derives joy in reading a lot of books. Her favoutite novel by a Nigerian author is; Things fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

Jamila’s faourite movie is Tribe by Ifeanyi Onyeabor while her favourite Nigerian actor is Joke Silva. She describes multi award winning 2face Idibia as his favourite Nigeria Musician. If there is one thing she dislike in the opposite sex that will be dishonesty.

She says a role model is Nelson Mandela describing him as a great thinker and a world leading human activist who transformed the black race to a peace and liberty. Her favourite tourist centre is the Argungu international fishing festival in Kebbi state
Jamila loves sports, singing and dancing. She described herself as humble, intelligent, hard working and God fearing.
