Showcasing
the rich culture and heritage of the good people of Ekiti state is Ikpegbu Abolarinwa Irene. She hails from Idemili
north L.G.A in Anambra state and Efon L.G.A of Ekiti state. Irene as she is
popularly called by her friends, was born on the 25th of May 1986 to
the family Mr. & Mrs. Joel Ikpegbu Abolarinwa. She is the seventh child out
of a family of nine. Irene obtained a BS.c in Biology technology from the University
of Jos and she is currently planning for her masters in the same university.

year old Irene entered Heroes TV show for the fame and to add colours to her
acting career which is her most priced asset. And if she wins, she will use
this platform to help the needy in society and contribute to the church
building where she worships.
Her
favourite food is wheat and okro soup while her favourite Nigerian musician is
the duo of Peter & Paul popularly known as P-square for their ability to
sing and dance very well. She doesn’t have a special movie of her choice but
enjoys watching epic movies of any kind.
Irene interacts
freely with all, even though appeared reserved and talks only when is necessary, she says her
favourite actor is Genevieve Nnaji. Her favourite novel by an author is; gifted
hands by Ben Carson.
Irene’s
favourite African film maker is O.G Productions. She hopes to visit Italy and
Malaysia someday. Her role is Pastor T.B Joshua for his prophetic nature. Her
favourite tourist centre in Nigeria is the famous Obudu cattle ranch.
In
no longer words she briefly described herself as; simple, God fearing,
loveable, passionate, energetic and peace loving person.

Representing
the people of Adamawa state is Hauwa Eunice Igkpegbu, younger sister to Irene
is from Obani Uke in Anambra state. She is a graduate with a BS.c in Banking
and finance from Tansian University, Anambra state.
Hauwa,
an actress, banker and business lady entered Heroes…back to the roots to emerge
the winner and to showcase her rich cultural heritage. And if she wins, she
wishes to use this platform to improve our local craft to international
standard.
Her
favourite TV program is Papa Ajasco, a popular comedy soap in Nigeria by Wale
Adenuga Productions. Very quiet in her loving nature she handles her odds with
care and caution. Her favourite meal is semovita and vegetable soup.
Hauwa’s
favourite novel is; the joys of motherhood by Buchi Emecheta. As her love for
culture and tourism increases, she defines Nigeria as the sole home of toyrism
in Africa which explains why her favourite tourist attraction centre is the
Obudu cattle ranch resort.
Despite
her evergreen love for her motherland, Nigeria, she wishes to have a vacation trip
to Malaysia. She tags veteran Nollywood actor; Pete Edochie her favourite actor.
Blessing Suleiman Ndak & B2 entertainment are Hauwa;s favourite African
film maker.
She
has no special movie but likes watching Cartoons while her favourite Nigerian
musician is Flavour. Legendary Nigerian musical icon; Onyeka Onwenu is her role
model.
Hauwa
describes herself to be easy going, humble with a sense of humour, loves
entertainment and God fearing in everything I do.
